Step 1: Service Availability

Once municipal water or sanitary service installed at the property line and confirmed live by InnServices, property owners may apply for a Town building permit to connect.

If service is not available, additional infrastructure or service extensions may be required.

Step 2: Building Permit

A building permit is required prior to connection.

Applicants must submit the Water and/or Sanitary Lateral Connection Permit Application along with required documentation, which may include:

  • Site servicing drawings prepared by a qualified professional
  • Site plan showing structures and proposed service entry points
  • Distance from curb stop or sanitary connection to the property line
  • Building permit documentation (if applicable)

Town staff will review the submission and notify you when the permit is ready for payment and pick-up. All applicable building permit and InnServices fees must be paid before installation.
