Water Meter Request Form
Water meter installation will continue to be the responsibility of the builder or owner. Please read the information below regarding updates to the meter installation process.
Prior to Installation: Meter Part Pick-Up
Please contact waterservices@innservices.co to request a date/time to pick up your meter parts prior to meter installation. This includes the Water Meter, Shut-Off Valve, Back Flow Preventer, Stainless Steel Insert, Touch Pad and Wire. The water meter request is to be submitted 2 weeks in advance of the pick-up date to give InnServices the required time to make sure the water meter assembly parts are in stock.
Please complete the following form to request your meter parts. Once your request is confirmed you will receive confirmation of your meter pick up date.

After Installation: Book Inspection
Please contact InnServices/InnPower by email at cs@innpower.ca once the Water Meter, Shut-Off Valve, Back Flow Preventer, Stainless Steel Insert, Touch Pad and Wire have been installed as per Town of Innisfil Engineering Standard TOISD 706 to book your inspection. Your email must include the service address, requested date of inspection, a contact name, and a contact phone number to confirm your appointment. Please allow a minimum of 10 business days prior to your desired occupancy inspection date. The water meter installation needs to be approved (meter sealed) by InnServices staff before an occupancy permit will be granted.
PLEASE NOTE:
- It is the Builder/Owner’s responsibility to ensure access to the residence or building is available for the meter inspection on the appointment date and time. Cancellation of an appointment requires 24 hours notice or it will be subject to additional fees.
- It is the Builder/purchaser’s responsibility to ensure all that the Water Meter, Shut-Off Valve, Back Flow Preventer, Stainless Steel Insert, Touch Pad and Wire is completed on the date scheduled for the meter inspection.
- It is the Builder/Purchaser’s responsibility to notify InnServices/InnPower to reschedule the inspection date if the installation is not approved or if access to the residence or building was not made available.
Be advised that you may be subject to additional fees when:
- Missed appointments
- Not enough clearance around the water meter
- Incomplete/improper plumbing, including remote wire/conduit
- No water (curb box MUST be accessible, operational and in the open position)
- No heat to property
