Watermain Break - Newholme Circle

UPDATE - We are happy to share that repairs were successfully completed. Post-repair flushing and sampling was also completed. Thank you to our crews for their hard work and customers for their patience as we worked to repair the broken watermain.

There is a watermain break on Newholme Circle in Stroud. Emergency repairs will be completed tomorrow (Sep 18) morning, currently estimated for 9am-5pm. 

During the repair, some residents on Newholme Circle will be without water. Staff will be going door-to-door to notify impacted residents. Residents may wish to fill containers ahead of time to have extra water on hand during this time.

When water is restored, you may experience air in plumbing or discoloration in water. We would recommend that you refrain from water consumption activities till discolouration is gone (for example doing laundry). We recommend that you run your cold water taps for a few minutes to flush out any sediment which may have accumulated within your water service line and any air trapped in the line
