There will be a temporary shutdown to water service along 25th Sideroad (from the Water Treatment Plant at 2152 25th Sideroad to Roberts Rd) while operations staff conduct a necessary leak repair in a valve chamber. The shutdown will take place on Friday, August 25, from 9am-2pm. Impacted customers have been notified via hand delivered notices.
IMPORTANT: During this time customers will not have access to water. It is advised to fill containers ahead of time to have extra water on hand during this time.
When water is restored, you may experience air in plumbing or discoloration in water. We would recommend that you refrain from water consumption activities until any discolouration is gone (for example doing laundry). Run your cold water taps for a few minutes to flush out any sediment which may have accumulated within your water service line and any air trapped in the line.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.
