Planned Water Shut Down - 25th Sideroad
As part of the Innisfil Beach Park Upgrades, a planned water shutdown is scheduled for properties within the affected area on 25th Sideroad, north of the Lakeshore Water Treatment Plant.
The shutdown is expected to last up to 36 hours while crews complete important water infrastructure work.
Shutdown Details
Date: Wednesday, August 12, 2026 (weather permitting)
Start Time: 8:00 a.m.
Estimated Restoration: Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 8:00 p.m.
Estimated Duration: Up to 36 hours
Affected Area: Properties within the highlighted area
Residents in the affected area will receive advance notice with shutdown details, including information about bottled water availability during the interruption.
How to Prepare
We encourage affected residents to plan ahead before the shutdown begins:
- Store enough water for drinking, cooking and other essential household needs.
- Complete laundry, dishes and showers in advance.
- Keep additional water available for pets and other household needs.
After Water Service Returns
Following a water shutdown, you may notice temporary discolouration or cloudiness when service is restored.
If this occurs, run a cold water tap until the water runs clear before resuming normal use.
