Water Pressure & Flow
Low or changing water pressure is a common concern and is often temporary. This page helps you understand what may be causing pressure or flow changes, what you can check at home, and when to contact InnServices.
Why water pressure or flow may change
Water pressure and flow can change for a few common reasons, including:
- High water use in your area
- Nearby maintenance or watermain flushing
- Plumbing fixtures or valves inside your home
- Temporary air in the pipes after a service interruption
In many cases, pressure and flow return to normal without any action.
Low water pressure throughout your home
If water pressure is low at all taps, the issue may be related to the municipal system or a partially closed main shut-off valve inside your home.
If pressure does not improve and nearby homes are experiencing similar issues, please contact InnServices so we can investigate.
Low pressure at one fixture

If only one faucet or fixture is affected, the cause is likely within the home. Check for clogged aerator, partially closed valve, or plumbing issue.
Temporary pressure changes
Short-term pressure changes can occur after water service interruptions, watermain flushing, or during periods of high water use.
These changes are usually temporary. Running cold water at one tap for a few minutes may help restore normal flow.
When to contact InnServices
Contact InnServices if pressure is low throughout your home and does not improve, or if you believe the issue may be related to the municipal system.
If the issue appears limited to your home or a single fixture, a licensed plumber may be able to help.
