Stroud Water Storage Facility and Booster Pumping Station
Municipal Class - Environmental Assessment
InnServices Utilities Inc. (InnServices) undertook a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) for a new Water Storage Facility and Booster Pumping Station in the community of Stroud, Innisfil. The study followed the Schedule ‘B’ Municipal Class EA process as set out by the Municipal Engineers Association.
InnServices completed a Master Servicing Plan (MSP) update in 2024 which identified the project involving the construction of a New Stroud Water Storage Facility and Booster Pumping Station that was suggested for implementation under the short-term timeline. The facility will be supplied by the Lakeshore Water Treatment Plant via the Alcona Reservoir and Booster Pumping Station. The study area is along Yonge Street between the 9th Line and Lockhart Road as illustrated on the accompanying map. A Public Information Centre (PIC) was held on February 9th, 2026 to present and obtain input on the preliminary preferred alternative and the Notice of Completion can now be viewed.
Project Status
30 day review period May 22nd - June 22nd 2026. Preliminary Design to follow.

This Notice of Completion serves as the final mandatory point of contact.
The Notice Study of Commencement was issued on August 20, 2025.
