Reconstruction of Innisfil Beach Road – Phase 2

To meet the water supply and municipal sanitary sewage needs of the Innisfil Heights economic district as identified in the Town’s 2023 Master Servicing Plan update, InnServices is working in partnership with the County of Simcoe on the Reconstruction of Innisfil Beach Rd (County Road 21) Project. Watermain and sanitary forcemain will be installed from approximately 300m west of Yonge Street (County Road 4) westerly to approximately 300m east of 10th Sideroad (County Road 54).

This project is a continuation of the County Rd 21 Reconstruction project that began in 2019 which also includes widening of the road to four lanes, drainage improvements involving the addition of storm sewers, and the replacement of road crossing culverts, and a multiuse trail.

Project Timeline

Construction Start: Fall 2024

Construction Completion: Summer 2027

UPDATE: (DECEMBER 2024) - The contractor has prepared the road base for a temporary widening on the south side of the road. This is needed in order to permit installation of underground infrastructure and complete construction of the road on the north side of Innisfil Beach Road.

The contractor is now in winter shutdown. The contractor will be returning in Spring 2025 to resume construction.
