Innisfil Beach Road (CR 21) & 20th Sideroad Intersection Improvements

To meet the water supply and municipal sanitary sewage needs of the Innisfil Heights economic district as identified in the Town’s 2023 Master Servicing Plan update, InnServices is working in partnership with the County of Simcoe on the Innisfil Beach Rd (County Road 21) and 20th Sideroad Intersection Improvement Project. 

For InnServices, this project includes the installation of sanitary sewer watermain along Innisfil Beach Road from approximately 350m west of 20th Sideroad, and southerly along 20th Sideroad to approximately 270m south of Innisfil Beach Road.

This project is a continuation of the County Road 21 Reconstruction project that began in 2019, which also includes the widening of Innisfil Beach Road to 4 lanes, re-alignment of the 20th Sideroad (south leg), installation two sets of traffic control signals at the North and South legs of 20th Sideroad, drainage improvements, and a multi-use trail.

Design of this project is currently underway and construction is expected to commence following the completion of Phase 1 construction.

UPDATE: (DECEMBER 2024) - With Phase 1 construction now complete the County of Simcoe intends to proceed with the construction of this project beginning in 2025. Construction is anticipated to occur over 2 construction seasons, achieving completion in 2026.
