Disconnecting or Reconnecting Water Service
Water service may need to be temporarily shut off for plumbing repairs, seasonal properties, or demolition projects.
Disconnects and reconnects must be scheduled through InnServices.
Common Reasons for a Disconnect

Repairs or Leaks
Temporary shut-offs may be requested when plumbing work needs to be completed inside the property.
• Usually turned off and back on the same day

• Homeowner or plumber must be onsite

Seasonal Properties
Seasonal properties may request a temporary disconnect when the property will not be used for an extended period.
• Fee: $168
• Reconnect required when service resumes

Demolition
Water service must be disconnected before demolition.
• Water and sewer services must both be disconnected
• Utilities must sign off before demolition can proceed
• Final meter reading is taken
