Water and Wastewater Rates
InnServices provides safe drinking water and wastewater services to residents and businesses in the Town of Innisfil. Rates are approved by the Town of Innisfil and help cover the costs of operating, maintaining, and improving the community's water and wastewater infrastructure.
How Water Usage is Billed
Residential water usage is billed per cubic metre (m³) using a tiered rate structure. This means the rate per cubic metre increases as more water is used.
A cubic metre is a standard unit used to measure water consumption.
1 cubic metre (m³) = 1,000 litres of water
Your water meter measures the total amount of water used at your property, and your bill reflects the amount used during the billing period.
Residential Water Usage Rates
Residential water usage is billed in tiers:
| Usage | Rate |
|---|---|
| 1–10 m³ | See current rates |
| 11–25 m³ | See current rates |
| Over 25 m³ | See current rates |
These tiers encourage efficient water use while ensuring the water system can continue to operate reliably for the community.

Wastewater Charges
Wastewater charges help support the treatment and safe return of wastewater to the environment. Wastewater charges are typically based on the amount of water used at the property.
Wastewater treatment protects local waterways and ensures the system continues to meet provincial standards.
